Jessy came home from winter camp (4 days!)- we missed her sooo much! Dani cried while she was gone. Nanno and Dani wanted to make her a sign - they worked so hard on it. They actually made two - one draped in the front and one draped across her bedroom door. It was good to have her home. She sounds like she had a great time with great teaching. We haven't talked all about it yet because we had a fun and entertaining night!

A friend of ours (Nickie - who was in youth group when we were on staff) came and cooked my family dinner - it was sooo yummy - garlic pasta with chicken and shrimp and salad...and then dessert to top it all off. Nickie had Stephanie help her do everything - things I don't let her do...take the tails off the shrimp, etc. Dani and Steph helped her make dessert - it was like a banana cream pie (chocolate and banana pudding, banana slices - in mini graham cracker crusts topped with whip cream.)Stephanie would spoon the pudding in the bowl, then take a bite, spoon a little more in, take a bite...she created her own 2 pies. She squeezed the whip cream can with all her might and thought she was doing the whip cream while Nickie was actually pushing the tip!

When Steph prayed after our devotions she prayed, "Thank you for My Mickey!" Steph always gets peoples names wrong and we just let her because it's so funny! She still calls Bonnie's son Blake "beanie" and still asks for him!
