Legoland
Holly and I took the little ones to Legoland on Monday. We had a great time. We don't understand why Legoland makes you work on all the rides. Holly had to pull on this rope up a tower!! What in the world...I stayed on the ground taking pictures!!! My little camera seemed to work this day!
We saw this little park area with some "sprinklers"...we told the kids - "go ahead and play but don't get really wet!" We were watching them on this big high appartus and wondering why Parker was stopped and not moving...
We had no idea this was going to happen (see the bucket at the top?) You could actually see the bucket dropping in the above picture (I took this after it all happened so Robert could see it!):
Dani emerged from the tidal wave holding the little ones hands and they were screaming - Parker was angry, Steph was scared! It fell with so much force I was surprised they didn't get knocked over!
They were so wet it was as if they dove in a swimming pool! As we looked around and surveyed our surroundings...we realized it was a full blown water park with water slides - just like Wild Rivers or Soak City! We just thought it was a "play" area! We laughed so hard. I couldn't breathe - I was trying to comfort Stephanie but I couldn't stop laughing!
See?? They look cold - it wasn't a hot day - around 63 maybe????
I had to buy Steph a shirt - Holly had extra sweats for her to wear. While I went "shopping" she had my sweatshirt on.
She had it off when I came back - she was running around in a pull up! looking like white trailer trash!!! Dani got a whole new outfit (she scored!). I couldn't find Andrew anything - he wore his sweatshirt and actually his shorts dried fast!
