Brian Head

We went on our annual after Christmas trip…This year WAS FREEZING like no other time!!  We hardly skied or did anything- but we still had a blast.  It was nice to hang out as a family – the Dempseys came and we always have a great time with them.   It was even too cold to take pictures :)  Here’s all I did….

Finally – we woke up New Years Eve and it looked like this!

Dempsey’s cabin was the highest one on the right…

 

         On New Years – we sat at the Dempsey’s cabin – it overlooked the mountain … we watched the torch parade from the warmth of the house!

   

Then they kept with tradition Darren started and they ran outside at midnight in barefeet!

It looks dark but it was still light – the flash just makes it look darker….they were about for about 5 minutes – it was still freezing! 

When we skied – one day it was pretty nice about 24…then we skied in about  7 and then one day in about 13 or so – yes it was that cold!!!!  The night they ran outside was in the minuses for sure!

 

Practicing with off camera flash with Jessy….fun cool effects – there’s a light coming from the side of her.  We did this for about 5 minutes and then we froze.
