Trip to the Creamery
We took the kids to Ralphs Creamery. They made us wear hair nets - come to find out we really didn't have to! How funny is that??? It actually was good because it made it more fun for this kids. The man that led our tour was really into safety. At every window he talked about safety. It was kind of funny but the kids were respectful. He talked about proper attire, correct shoes, ear plugs - how he had hearing loss due to an illness, proper safety in operation machines and on and on and on. He was perfect for his job.
The other man was the Grandpa of one of the kids and he was more "normal!" Dani loved it - she hasn't gone on many field trips like this - the older kids were excited to not do school. Better to wear a hair net, look at cool conveyor belts (well ... through a window) than to do math! It was actually Sammy's birthday! So here is his picture on his 12th birthday...cookies and milk at Ralphs.
They are holding posters - I guess the original posters they passed out to the kids were girls in bikinis drinking milk!!!! What in the world????? We laughed so hard.
